The Rollers from Zaandam have a very particular place in instrumental Indorock.
Their sound and style deviated entirely from the Hague Indo-Rock school, which
was especially developed by
The Tielman Brothers
, The Black Dynamites and
Oety & his Real Rockers.
The Rollers had the typical sound of Dutch guitar groups from that period,
with strong influence of the 'South American Rock'
style developed by
Electric Johnny and The Skyrockets.
Other lndorock groups which played approximately in the same style were
Tony & His Magic Rhythms (from Dordrecht) and Boy & His Rollin' Kids -
also from Zaandam and strongly related to The Rollers.
